From Kraal to Care: Holistic Husbandry Now in Your Pocket

Data That Builds Healthier Herds

A few weeks ago, we shared how Holistic Hooves is now tracking and visualising grazing routes in alignment with our Holistic Planned Grazing plan.

Today, we're taking it one step further.

🌍 Introducing the Wellbeing Feed

Regenerative livestock management is about more than grazing. It's about care, stewardship, and the stories that unfold around each animal. That’s why we’re delighted to introduce the latest feature in the Holistic Hooves platform: The Wellbeing Feed!

This new feature allows farmers to record essential animal care events in real time and share them transparently with stakeholders—whether they are sponsors, funders, or project managers.

  • Dipping

  • Vaccinations

  • Dehorning

  • Predator encounters

  • Kraal relocations

  • Lameness events and recovery days in the 'sick herd'

... every event is now captured, recorded, and logged against the individual animal's digital profile.

The Wellbeing Feed

Why This Matters

Over time, these micro-events build a comprehensive story of each animal. At the end of the year, a sponsor or manager could look back and instantly see how many days an animal spent recovering, what treatments it received, and how it compares to its genetic lineage or herd mates. It's a new level of visibility, traceability, and care that aligns with Regenerative principles.

For farmers, it’s a simple but powerful recordkeeping tool. For sponsors, it becomes a stream of meaningful updates.

Every alert tells a story

Each husbandry event recorded is not just a note—it's a story. A moment where human stewardship meets animal livelyhood. And thanks to our app, these moments are now shared directly with our sponsor community.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be rolling out more updates and showcasing how these features are being used in the field

For now, we hope you're as excited as we are to see how the journey of regeneration just became even more detailed, more transparent, and more connected.

Thank you for being a part of this journey.

🐮 Still Thinking of Sponsoring?

Every sponsored animal regenerates up to 15 hectares of land per year, and now you can see exactly how that happens. If you've been waiting for the right time to join, this is it.

Let’s continue the journey together.
